Not sure if this goes in AOTW or BOTW, but since it moves I put it here:

I picked this up at the big flea market a couple months ago. It was still in the box on a table full of 3 for $1 junk. It's a Faller kit. I powered it with a motor I salvaged from some CD player or something. I made the shaft to connect the blade to the motor from the plastic stick from my daughter's lollipop.
I've had trouble getting it to run at realistic speed. Currently I've got a D cell battery running through an old copper MRC cab control to adjust the speed. All the different power packs I tried were too fast. It's still tricky to get it to run slow. Someday I may try to find a different motor.

Very nice wind mill, that brings back memories. My dad had one of these on his Marklin layout.

That is one cool windmill! Put a variable resistor between the power and the motor. That way you can control the speed.
