a repowered baldwin switcher using emd gp7 power plant and other bits and peices ken The Santa Fe loco #1460 is a rare one. Santa Fe took a Baldwin switcher and rebuilt it and combined it with an EMD GP-7. They only built one and it was used as a shop switcher in Texas. It was retired a few years ago, and is now in Barstow.Edited by - catfordken on November 06 2011 12:31:17 PM

I really don't think I could be more clear. Since the Beep is more to the foreground in that shot and because the cab end of the Beep is the aft end, that would mean the SD and I mention in my original question that I had thought it originally was an SD60B as a qualifier (6 wheel trucked road switcher) is behind the Beep.
So in the picture lets say the one to the right.

It is 1 of 8 SD45-2s that Santa Fe rebuilt as B-units. It does have dynamic brakes as seen by the brake equipment on the roof where the cab/nose should be.
