Okay - I'll admit it, I'm not all Tyco and HO scale. I'm Lionel/K-Line O Scale as well. :^)

Most of my present equipment is Digitrax'd DCC HO scale motive power - mainly Kato, BLI and Atlas. They don't sit in a showcase or on display. They're usually hauling long consists of Bethgon Coal Porters or Van Trains around a club layout.

But like just about everyone - I can trace my hobby's roots back to Tyco, AHM, Bachmann, LifeLike and Horn Hooks.

Not a lot of my first Tyco set still exists - it was a Christmas present from Santa, but like most Tyco engines in the early 70s - it was junk and didn't run much at all. When it ran, I ran it till the trucks fell off it. Had many a spectacular derailment or head-on locomotive collision.

I like caffeine and a chainsaw ...
