While running around down south, I took some time to take some railfan pics while traveling. I'll label them as I go along.



above - This appears to be a Norfolk Southern parked about 1/4 mile from the main road crossing in Clover, VA. Probably waiting for clearance to proceed, maybe.



above - Container stack train pulling into Crewe NS yard.



above - Container train stopped in yard



above - various cars parked in the Crewe, VA yard near dusk Saturday Oct. 15



above - poor pic of caboose I found in a field on the opposite side of the tracks, an area I'd never crossed into before. Neat!



above - some of the former Virginian tracks in Burkeville, VA, now NS trackage.

MB, I didn`t know that NS ran over BNSF! Ive seen a BNSF engine on a NS frieght at the old fort loops.

yup it has,CNVIATyco But I'll bet its a Loco Sharing Program of some kind BNSF does this with UP alot

SEE? The street in back is my street 4th loco is a BNSF & 2nd loco is a SD60
