First, who made these ore cars. They have metal bases and I think MDC/Roundhouse.




Next, is a very well built Power Truck

You are correct about the ore cars being made by MDC/Roundhouse.
As for the motor truck,my guess would be Lima? Rivarossi? I dunno!

+1 on the Fleischmann. I knew I'd seen one of those motors somewhere...the gearing looks identical to an F-mann loco from the 60's that I have buried somewhere
