Today was Railfair, the one and only train show that takes place in the capital city of Canada. Despressing right?....I know. Anyway, I didn't have as big a haul as past years (maybe that's a good thing ) but I did find some nice things

My biggest score happened early on in the day. I was standing at the consignment table staring at piles of Canadian Tri-ang (yuck) when out of the corner of my eye I spotted a herd of Tyco CN streamliners peeking out from under some boxes about 15ft away. I rushed over to the table and started digging frantically to free them from this mess. I pulled one out....$5 a car! YES PLEASE As I was going to pay the dude for this box of five cars I looked down and there was yet another one! $3! I was quite excited

Here's a pic of all the stuff. 6 CN streamliners (only five in the picture), a Canadiana boxcar, a bag of 100 HO people, and a saw blade:

I also found a Canadiana C-430 on the consignment table. It was marked "Free Child". I asked the guy what he wanted for it and he said it was free, but only children could take it. Ah well...some lucky kid will get their start with Tyco

I know you do MB! I think I'm keeping most of them though...two of them were modified. I haven't decided what to do with them yet. I may just try to restore them

Walt: That car does kind of stand out in the pic doesn't it!? I already have a few like it...I'm going for a nice matching consist

CVT: It was a Canadiana C430, not CN. You'll find one eventually
