Well, This Release Is Fairly Old, However, I Decided I Would Review It For The N Scalers Like Me. I Mostly Am A N Scaler.
Well, Here Goes Nothin`.

First Of all, The Engines Cost Is Very low, At A Remarkable $69.95, But I Got Mine At The Little Choo Choo Shop In Spencer, NC. For $59.95. The Store Is Very Much Worth The Visit.
It Uses A Very Similar Mechanisim To Their Very Good GP7/9. On The Top, Chassis Has A Clip Fit PC Board Which Can Be Replaced By A DCC Digitrax Decoder. (heres A Tip. DCC Has Risen, And It Will FAIL INCREDIBLY! Stick With DC. You`d Be Better Off On The Long Run.) The Motor Is A Dual Flywheel 5 Pole Motor, Which Handles Very Low Speeds Well.

The Model Is Quite Detailed On Fore And Aft. Lots Of Added Details Like Pilot Plows And Horns. Its Quite A Nice Engine.

Its The Best Engine I Have Other Than A Rare Kato NS C44-9W N Scale.
It Has Operating Headlights, And Good Detail. The Grills Are Not See Through, However, They Are Very Good.

I Would Have To Rate The Engine A 9/10. Good Detail, However, The Lights Twitch And In Forward And Reverse, That Headlight Turns off and The Opposite Light Flickers. Overall, A Very Good Value For Money Locomotive.
I Would Suggest The Engine To Any N Scaler Modeling Conrail. This Engine Comibines Detail With Retail, And It Comes Out Perfect!
