I think this is a common problem so finding one may be tough. But my original piggy back loader gear was stripped, the one that goes from the motor to the arm assembly. So I got a used on on ebay because anything was better than the pieces I had. Well I managed to get it working, but the same gear is stripped in the same exact place. Not the entire gear, just about 1/3rd of it. I must say I was shocked to see such an exact reproduction of a problem. Well I am looking for that gear, or a piggy back loader set that I can use for parts that has the gear in it so I can transfer my parts to it. Long story short, I am so close yet so far from having a working piggy back loader. If anyone can help I would be forever in debt to you. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have anything... Thanks in advance!

I just bought one in a lot, charity auction, but it's going to Microbusss before Xmas. Sorry I can't help you with the stripped gear. THis one needs the dual master control unit, with two levers.

I would like to have a piggyback loader, but first I have to buy a few piggyback trailers to use with it...

Mine does work, it is just jerky in the forward and back motions because of the missing teeth. If you ever power yours up and the forklift doesn't go up and down but you can hear the motor move. Just pop it open in half down the middle, then put a shim about the size of a folded credit card between the top of the gear box and the angle in the window. It will hold the gear box just that much closer to the gears causing them to mesh properly again. I had to do this to 2 that I have messed with. If either of you want to part with yours just let me know. I converted my old lever controls I had from my original set into track switching levers. If I hadn't had done that I would offer it to you.. And if you ever give up your hunt for a shed, just let me know. :) I am curious what the hole is for on the surface. Both I have had had this and I have seen others too, so I assume it is from the factory that way. But why, sprue placement maybe?
