Hi,

Hoping someone might have the cover that retains the brushes for a tyco power torque motor. I accidentally broke the retainer for the brush cover (the copper thing that slides over the spring) and the spring went flying.. if anyone has an junked power torque motor that I could scavenge I'd appreciate it.. this comes from a Chattanooga 0-8-0 is black plastic about an inch- inch and a half square ..

Let me know how much you want for it...

thx
Mike

Mike, I have oddles of PT motors at the moment. Trouble is they are of slightly different designs, some have venting, etc. If you can take a pic of yours and send it to me, I'll give ya a matched one, no charge. I can just mail it in a standard envelope, and send you the springs and brushes if you need'em too.

Hey Mike:

Tony L. (GIC) has a big long ID guide thread on here somewhere that covers all the models. He also has a website of his own that covers much of the same material in some cases in greater depth.

Try here:

Jerry of course as the official "PT" pimp of the forum , can meet your every twisted PT need, in a good way of course! I bough a batch from him last year.

tried sending an e-mail but don't think it worked and I can't seem to upload a picture but found one online, the cover looks like this:

I'd be interested in buying a whole motor for parts but definitely need the cover and brushes/springs..

I can PM you my address.. thank you!!!!!
