These are used on the trains that haul the rebuilt and rebuilds of turbines /generators etc from power plants across the country - to SIEMENS. These are stationed at the Siemens plant in Charlotte NC.
Notice the Christmas lights on end caboose

That Rapido actually is at a local Model Train Specialty place on consignment.... the new ones are months away so I'm hoping it will sell.

I saw one go on ebay for $129 a bit ago! .... I guess the theory is that these are equivalent to brass therefore....

Kasgro (KRL) Caboose 073 brings up the rear of CSX W993.
With CSXT 5263 leading.

It prepares to take the cutoff at Mortons Junction at Mortons Gap Kentucky.
Heads north on the Henderson Subdivision.

The train was running with a load for General Electric on Kasgro 20 Axel. Depressed Deck Car KRL 204040 that has a load limit of 943900 lbs.

Kasgro Rail Corporation builds maintains and manages a fleet of nearly 500 specialty railcars.
Which are used for transporting oversized and heavy dimensional loads anywhere in the United States Railroad system.
