I remember a kid I had in training tried to John Wayne one with his teeth! Spent the rest of the day at the base hospital with the dentist!
Also had a kid hit the parapet and bounce back.... don't you hate practices....

Also, theres actually 2 pins. One pin is on the lever as a safety then the big one that lets ignite the fuse.

Hi Gareth, This guy is alive and well & enjoys Tyco products as much as i do. He come from under the lodge with two others on May 13th. I was able to bottle feed and keep this one going. He has no idea he is a raccoon, he believes he's a puppy.. Potty trained himself and sleeps on the bed with my two cats & I.. I never knew how sweet one of these little guys could ever be,,,

Keep in mind, Walt, that after 2 years, Raccoons will go through a transition, they will go back to being wild and can BITE you. Just be aware that they have that trigger built in, and it won't be safe to keep him after that. It's documented behavior, so enjoy him now, but be prepared to let go quickly. He looks cute, though!

Hey Jerry, I live on a 112 acre Lodge setting that has tons of wildlife everyday. I've heard many stories about Raccoons and have read a little about them. This little guy wonders around only about 25 feet from the lodge when I let him run free. Within 10 minutes he comes back to the porch. If I'm not visible he panics a bit As far as how long he stays with me is naturally OK.. When he needs to go back to nature that will have to be. This one loves to nibble on me like a puppy would, but he already snaps (bites) at me if I take his food or when I have to cage him at night. If he doesn't play enough during the day he stays awake at night (which is natural) He comes to bed and licks ya, and rubs his paws all over me, sniffs me all over, plays with my clothing etc. A real nightmare! I'd raise a rattlesnake if I had a chance. I respect nature and have little fear of wildlife. A raccoon bite in my life is a tiny thing...
I did see a website that said some pet raccoons will not leave and expect a protected raccoon to live 10-16 years! That means this little guy will out live me if he stays!!!

There is a small clip that attaches to the spoon called a "jungle clip" but i took it off. I bought 2 of these because its almost impossible to find a replica of an M67 thats to scale and has the proper markings. I just display this because it looks excellent.
Excellent pet Walt. I bet he is a trip!
