Hi guys!

I made a purchase that showed up yesterday. It is a tandem electric pantograph die cast & brass locomotive. There are two units that look like this:

They mount back to back. I can post better pictures later when i get home. One unit is powered. The shell is a semi-soft lead-like die-cast and the chassis & trucks are brass. It looks like a European styled locomotive and the only markings on it are EH 10 12

Any help to identify would be greatly appreciated. i plan to post it on Feebay and I would love to do it correctly.

Is there something weird about the lighting, or is it actually painted... purple?

Thanks CN! I was doing a search for EH 10 and got nothing. Put them together and wa la!

I know it is not Tenshodo, but at least it is a good start.

Thanks a ton!

My wife would not be so nice in describing me at times....

Gareth, this is how I fund my collection. If I did not resell certain items, I would never be able to afford the ones I collect, or the restoration of either of my late 60's Mustangs. My wife has given me one $25 raise in my bi-weekly (Now $125) allowance in nearly eight years. It just barely covers the cost of gas getting to and from work each day and leaves me nothing left for anything extra. You got to do what you got to do to get what you want out there.

Besides, I do not cheat anyone and I do try in any way possible to correct mistakes I do make. If that makes me despicable, then so be it. However... He who dies with the most toys at the end...wins as they say.

I can vouch for your being a concientious seller no question.

See I don't go on ebay much anymore cause I have virtually no money to spend for any forseeable future so when you post stuff you're going to put on ebay it's like offering alcohol to an alcoholic (the drinker not the Locomotive lover!)

Thats what I meant.

As to the "...most toys thing...", thats a social disease as I see it! Notice no wink or smiley here, cause I actually do mean that.

Oh, and stop giving your wife control of you rpayccheque!

In short, I was teasing....

I know full well. I sometimes get frustrated with my self after buying something I did not need and will make little to no profit on. It takes a lot for me to curb my buying on there as it truly cuts into my collection/mustang rehab funds and sometimes I regret it... Quitting smoking was easier than quitting buying trains.

I knew full well you were teasing so no worries.. I immediately broke out into a full blown laugh when I read it.

You know Sean with smoking a protein is developed in the brain within hours of the last smoke that induces a brain chemistry imbalance that exactly mimics clinical depression. Sorry can't remember the name of that protein, but I bet there is a Model Train one!!!
