Ken:
That "E" unit has a diaphram, guess it won't be having any babies! Ok, some of you younger fella's won't get that!
Nice stuff... like the CP autoracks! Did you nkow they started enclosing them because people were throwing rocks at the new cars as they past.
Speaking of rock throwing I trust you and you offspring are staying safe!?
Cheers, Gareth

Ah.
The hoods look a wee bit wide and I was thinking as was common at one time to put the "widebody" Athearn GP shell on the Hobbytown chassis. I have one of these. Drives the rivet counters, mad!

cool & sweet stuff The articutated autoracks are a concept started by Norfolk & Southern (I think) now everybody has them Have only seen one in the Bailey Yards one year Not seen one on UP main yet I only see the singles
It's marked SOO The Jupiter looks like the older Bachmann version The SP is the Kodachrome when SP & SF WERE going to merge
A Tyco Canadiana Nice one too I want one someday

I think the auto carrier is an articulated "Auto Max" by Athearn Genesis - it sure looks like one, but I don't know if Walthers is making them too. IIRC they were designed to hold more SUVs than a typical bi-level. As Gareth said, the enclosure is a sort of sad commentary on society. Also IIRC this was one of the first cars sold under the Athearn Genesis brand.
The E-Unit looks like it could be a Proto2K, but I'm not sure. Looks good regardless!
Are your Gunderson cars assembled? That's a monster of a kit - always wanted to do them, but just the thought of the hundreds of little decals on a 5-unit car gives me arthritis. Still would like to try one seomday, even though it's a rare case where the pre-built RTR version is truly well worth the price!

It could be a 9 phase 1 if it has inspection holes above the gas tank. Your picture doesn't show that area. Also roof detail helps . But i still think it is a 7. frank

Ken, Nice haul. I'm pretty certain the E7 is a repainted & detailed Roco/Model Power unit. I can see the giant can motor through the side windows, and the original bright yellow horns through the cracks in the paint. They must have puttied over the original screw hole in the top of the shell. Those things can pull stumps.
I love the weathered B&O Big Six, even if it is lettered for CN. Is that the original Rivarossi motor in the cab, or a can replacement?

Ken ; Your roof view shows that the GP7 Has a steam generator, so it is set up for powering passenger trains also. frank
