Got a little moto-vation going tonight after getting home from work to accomplish something, so I decided to get the 8 foot long T-module out of the basement and lay some Code 100 on it. Got my hand tools, measuring tools and glue laid out on the hot tub, propped up the module, and got to work. after a couple hours work, and some interruption by a pair of raccoons foraging in my backyard, I got 4 pieces of 3' flexi-track laid on the cork roadbed and glued down on 2 inch center. It's not laser straight, but using a 2 foot level, I got it reasonably close to acceptable for me. here's a pic of it after I took a short AC break inside about 9:40 pm.

My goal, when this module is completed, is to have a mountainous terrain backdrop instead of the usual "sky" board, and then have two 4-foot boards of more cliff-side design down the front to the floor. Our module club usually uses nice blue skirts, but I'm going to take mine "down to the ground". Should be a different look altogether from what most guys have done. So basically all my terrain will be mostly vertical, with only the 8 foot long T-module having horizontal surfaces. Should transport fairly well with little volume. The 8 foot module will be a tight fit in my Jeep, but I tried it, and it will fit ok. So I'll see if I can't finish it this year, and maybe get in some actual modular shows for a change this year. That'd be nice.
