Here are some recent entries for COTW.

Just a collection of things that I have been working on and on and on...

This is what happens when you put together 4 Tyco triple tankers into one articulated tanker!

It's riding on Athearn heavy duty flatcar bolsters

Ant the articulation end has a "quick disconnect" so you don't have to handle 4 feet of Megatanker!

And to be a little less looney, here's a repainted PC gondola. It started as a metal kit in a junk box at a train show. It was $1 and had decent trucks and Kadees. I bought it for the spare parts but along the way I saw a diamond in this coal lump

It's the Santa Fe gondola

Is it really an old Mantua kit?

Painted and with a worm placard added

Dull-coat needed and ready for revenue service!

And finally 2 more IHC ore jennies. I removed the 100 ton roller bearing trucks they came with and substituted the older AHM 50 ton trucks.

I hunted high and low for the history of these models since they have individual numbers. I couldn't figure out who would be crazy enough to release PC individualized cars in the general market. I have been buying a bunch of them form a flea market in western PA.

From a few minutes of searching, it seems these are from a 12 car set IHC released, where all the cars have different numbers, it looks like they did this with Penn Central, Conrail, Great Northern, and CN&W. this page has some good photos of the set: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/twelve-12-ihc-penn-central-pc-ore-4826170585
