After taking vows that this week I'd start relocating New Armadilloville to a recently vacated bedroom, this is the result:
Not a blessed thing. One dang thing after another blew up in my face this week, so I didn't move so much as a twig. Stay posted???
I did manage to enjoy a potluck and a post-potluck dance with some friends after spending much of November in the ICU like a turtle on its back, so there's that!

This is definitely the most relatable struggle! I started Queensdale 8 years ago. Then came distractions and side projects galore. It should be done by now, but I'm not even close.
We're all glad to hear you made it through the ICU!Edited by - DaCheez on December 07 2025 6:53:20 PM

I can relate. I have been trying to clear out the bedroom to start construction of the new Alleghany Railway for months now. There is so much stuff in the way including the old Cumberland Terminal layout plus I work nights and care for my disabled wife when I am not at work. SO far the wood for the frame and legs has been cut and stained, it just needs assembled. Then comes the intricate part: the wood subroadbed for the track has to all be cut to fit, and elevated. The 315 feet of track ahs to be built including about 40 switches. I work om it usually an hour or so at a time and maybe I'll be able to run something on a couple feet of track by Christmas.
