those streamliners look nice. They look a bit shorter than the athearns, which would be useful for filming as I often use the streamliner cars in scenes, and I have limited space for long cars.

HObbyline is the original company to make this shorty, streamlined passenger cars. They made just the passenger chair can and the observation in 1955. The all silver PRR version was released in 1955 along with a Western Pacific set. In 1956 another PRR set was released with the red stripe above the windows. toptrain. toptrain

Looking over these cars they look familiar. Not the road names as much as their construction and details. Are these the cars Model Power was selling in the early 2000s just before they went under? The MP cars had a weird slot on the end of the cars that supported the shanks of the truck mounted couplers.

The Model Power cars with the coupler slot are old Marx HO items, Model Power didn't change much, only removing the Marx logo from the chassis. "A place for everything, everything in its place."
