yes obviously its a SP 4-8-4  but I was wondering if Bachmann actually made it if yes I WANT ONE!

Yes, indeed Bachmann did make it. I've seen multiple over the years online & at train shows.

They seem to be way more rare than the other split chassis 4-8-4's. Last time I saw one in person (and checked the price) the seller wanted $60. They seem to go for around $70-75 now, and upwards of $125 with a box!
As for the Tyco one you want, is this the one?
