| My submission this week is a Lionel HO Rectifier custom painted for the fictitious Huron Railway. I picked this up at a LTS a few years ago.

                | Didn't these have B trucks? Interesting that somebody modified it with the C trucks the real ones had. Is this a Hobbytown drive underneath the hood?

                | Yes Jward the Lionel HO/Athearn shell was modified to fit a Hobbytown chassis/motor. I do not know the history of the custom unit (how/why it was made from the original owner). Its definitely a cool custom piece. I have one of each of the the Lionel HO rectifiers (Virginian, Pennsylvania & two of the New Haven) and would never think of repainting one as they are so rare - finding this in the wild was a great find. |
