real cool Ironically the smoke coming out of chimneys, the operating oil pump, police light, & the welder you could do on a layout Did see a few Tycos in video too

That is soooo cool!
Did anyone catch the Delorean from "Back to the Future" up the street from the candy store? Parked in front of the white truck in one scene, gone in the next.
Genius!

Look close! It is only there for a split second. I love that kind of humor and attention to detail.
Just before the kid gets the Cracker Jack you see it, then the camera pans back and it is gone.

I didn't realize they'd finished the Rio section. Those little streetcars are definitely the highlight.

wks, that South America delights is really cool, both during the daytime and nightime shots. Whoever built this put some serious time and effort into the layout. Thanks for posting.

Years ago, my cousin borrowed a projector from his work and somehow got ahold of this movie and brought it up to our house. This is a great memory revisited.

yes the locos & cars are at the Orange Empire Museum while the depot & water tower were given to John Lasseter for his own private railroad at his winery depot was used in Walt Disney's So Dear To My Heart movie & being the depot was a prop Ward rebuilt it to be a function depot for his Grizzly Flats RR

Fortunately there are some subway routes still in use today which are similar to the old dismantled ones from yesteryear.
