Very interesting. However, that should take a bath in Super Clean and be repainted silver and jade! Redo the lettering just the same.

Ah, nothing like a little PC to bring El Rojo Grande out from the woodwork! That is a lovely idea, except I don't trust my hand to do it correctly. The previous owner did the black paint himself, and it doesn't look to good up close.

My old Varney set that I got at the Clark New Jersey train show years ago. Non powered unit.



Now that set is with someone else. Goes with his newer set he bought recently.
