Wow, I'm working my way through that first video, and there is a Burlington E7 pulling one baggage one coach. Talk about "Railroads You Can Model." That consist must have bled the railroad dry with revenue loss, but oh what a time to take the train. The last of the great named trains before Amtrak.
Then, we see the "Little Joe" and 1915 box cab electrics of the Milwaukee Road in action. Again, the last of the mighty mid-western electrics.
It was wonderful that this rail fan was able to capture these films; without it'd just be a forgotten memory.Edited by - Chops124 on November 09 2024 12:03:06 AM

I got to ride those trolleys in 1980. A wonderful ride. The trolley buses were also pleasant and quiet. That's why I model both in Armadilloville. America's first EV's.
Working my way through the Lehigh Valley films. Mesmerizing. Some very unusual lash ups of what appear to be FA B units in tandem or in between GP9's.Edited by - Chops124 on November 09 2024 4:23:42 PM
