After more than 20 years of searching and making my own knock off, I finally found and bought the elusive Mantua Delaware Boxcar.

Fabulous. There is a D&H Tyco 430 out mint in box lurking on
eBay recently.

Gorgeous tavern coach in ACL colors.

.

These two cars are part of the same kit, which is from the series of Gorre & Daphetis kits released by MDC Roundhouse. The Devils Gulch & Helengon was the G&Ds narrow gauge subsidiary, though these cars ride on standard gauge trucks. With this acquisition, I am now within 3 cars, all DG&H, of completing the known kits in this series.

How many of the Mantua state boxcars actually exist? Did they do all of them?

The West Virginia state boxcar appears in the catalog, but per this and other blogs, I don't think anyone has seen an actual car. Here are a few that I'm looking for. Does anyone have an extra one that they want to sell?

- Alaska
- Hawaii
- Idaho
- Maine
- Montana
- New Hampshire
- North Dakota
- South Dakota
- Utah
- Vermont
- West Virginia
- Wyoming

this one has the number of the silhouette card in the window

course the wording is missing on this side

dunno if its a print error or they rubbed off

but yes have the whole set with extra cars
but maaaan I'd love to get my hands on 1 or 2 of those SD24s Tyco made in Rio Grande!

I have 38 of the state boxcars. I'm not certain if they made all 50. I've got my eye out.
