I've never seen a 7-11 like that, but it is a neat building and seems plausible as a 7-E. The Tyco Baskin-Robbins is most definitely the 1980's &-E corporate style.
At any rate, I did build up one of the original Life-Like Buildems 7-E kits. Fit and finish was possibly the absolute worst of any kit I have ever assembled.
But if you take your time you can make it look cool.

I've been wondering what the 7-11 looked like since I read about it. If you ask me, it looks more like a 50's diner than a convenience store. Just make the doors into windows. - Matt -

A 7-11 is a railroaders paridise! Nothing like doughnuts and Mt. Dew at 2am.A must have for a layout! Nice job on the buildings! A lone amature built the ark! A large group of professionals built the titanic!

I have always liked the Buildems kits. I remember as a kid waitting to travel 45 miles to Woolworth, to see the Buildems & other HO train stuff. Pictured is my 711 and a few others beside it. I have the Freezee & the rare McDonalds kit too.
