No car, but do I remember that distinct flavor of chewable pink cardboard  ---and the comics were soooo stupid The prizes were pretty cool to a 10 year old. The things we put in our mouths as kids, it's a wonder we made it to adulthood.

LOL Shagy you`re right about that! I remember the chewing gum that came in ball cards, that stuff was nasty as hell but I loved it when I was 11. I guess maybe this would all explain why everyone is getting cancer and all these weird illness`s these days.

Bazooka wasn't bad (although the Bazooka Joe comics were horrible! ). It was that Fleer stuff that was gawdawful, with a flavor something like a roll of Tums. Then there were those brittle sticks they put in with their Wacky Packages, which no one ate because we only bought them for latest stickers.

Hey, I remember a package of baseball cards I got once. The gum inside was already about 7 years old, and cracked like paint chips when you touched it.
Somehow I resisted temptation, and did not eat any.
Oh, and have a Happy Birthday Erich!
