Well, as for me, PFC Chops rolled a lot of towels safely behind the lines at an Army hospital.
So, if you dried off at WBAMC, you can leave your tips in the tip jar at the door!

I do recall one young marine. All through the deployment they said, "don't pick anything up.
No souvenirs. It may be booby-trapped with an IED." First day off the plane, he picks
something up, which turned out to be the detonator that came loose from an unexploded
500 pound bomb. He looked like the Scarecrow out of Wizard of Oz with a permanently
ticked off looking expression.

I gave a small donation of six dollars at a Dunellen New Jersey veterans center today.













Was a small donation but it is the idea that counts. The retired vet appreciated my donation.
The center is named American Legion Post 119. Near the Model Railroad Shop a mile away.
Happy Veterans Day to those dedicated people.
