Wow. Added that one to my watch list. I didn't know Mantua made
this rig. Of interest is the double bogie trucks on powered end and
the curious offset of one of the wheel sets on the coach. A very
interesting piece. Unless it get's overlooked, I imagine this will
go for around 2 bills.

I want it! 
the old model railroad club I belonged to years ago had one of these
when it went around a 90 degree curve the middle would come up & derail 
So I guess it needs gentler curves hehe

I really like the looks of the Talgo Train engine. Looks like some George Barris custom work of the 1960s. However, I will never buy one, but they're cool as can be...

These Talgo trains always command a good price (usually above $100.) So, it most likely will be out of my budget right now (focusing too much on the Alpine Railway.  )

Four days out and the bidding is up to $71. Does this thing
even run? Is that horn hook coupling from the head end
appear to be the correct configuration for this item?
I was able to locate a detailed description: it's a non-runner.
Zoom on couplers appear to be intact and part of the unit, not
whacked on.
BTW RP, this item, from the same lot (looks to be an estate sale),
turned up. Does this float your boat, or does AHM not fit your
collection, generally speaking?
