Up for sale is a real oddball of the HO railroad scene – the Tyco F7 in CP Rail colors. As we all know, this was an uncatalogued item, at least according to Tony Cook's site info.
This is a factory dummy unit as well - does that make it more rare? What set would include not one but two CP F7s? Perhaps this be a standalone unit?
Using Goingincirclez' terminology, this is the Tyco Phase 2 F7 shell, so that dates this loco to the mid 70's at the earliest. Looks like it may possibly accept a PowerTorque motor should you wish to retrofit one.
The loco is mostly complete but is missing the headlight lens. One plow stirrup is broken (seen in picture), and there are some paint rubs on the rear stirrup on the engineer's side. The wheels look almost new, indicating that this unit saw little if any track time. I'd rate the condition at a solid 9 out of 10.
Feast your eyes:

I'm only asking $15 plus shipping for this dummy loco.
I accept Paypal or postal money order. I live in Canada so please expect a slightly longer shipping time. I will send via Canada Post parcel post unless otherwise specified, and the loco will be insured against shipping damage at no extra charge. Please send me an e-mail if you are interested!

Well, if $15 is a little too dear, I'll drop the price to $8. How does that sound?

Yeah, given that Tyco tooled up a new number board insert just for this variant, it's odd that a more prototypical number wasn't chosen!
