| Good luck with that, I've trolled swap meets and Ebay for the last 6 years for those and can only find them with the mounting tabs broken off.

I've been a bodyman for many years and there's a lot of nice plastic repair products out now. I have yet to but I want to try to find a repair for the common broken tabs on these trucks. There is one item that is made to adhere to almost anykind of plastic.

Ok, they're expensive, but here's 5 trucks for sale on Ebay for the 3-axle tankers. 7.99 each,

I know you can buy tankers cheaper than that, but oh well.

I'm late catching up to this thread, but I recently discovered a plastic repair product called Plastex. The stuff is unbelievable, things I figured on tossing as unrepairable can be fixed, and it has a molding bar that can be used to re-create missing tabs and parts as long as you have one to make a copy of. It's not cheap, but I figure it's paid for itself. An internet search will find it, and I believe there are YouTube videos as well.
[Unrelated to plastic, but my other favorite product recently is Evapo-rust. Again, not really cheap, but it does exactly what it claims (which always surprises me)--dissolves rust and leaves bare metal, but doesn't touch paints or plastics, and is non-toxic--you can (I have) dip your hands in the stuff and not have your skin sloughing off.]

i will check tomorrow at the Hobby Recycling shop.
My chemical background got me curious about Evapo-rust. pretty sure what it is, clever concept
and they are right it will only bind with rust and not steel

They say it uses selective chelation. Now I remembered anything at all from high school and college chemistry, I'd know what that means. I do know, however, it removed the rust from the crankshaft pulley for a '71 Alfa Romeo and didn't damage anything. And I had my hands in the stuff, and they're still on the ends of my arms.
Why am I always surprised when products do what they claim?
