I am rebuilding a pair of Cab Forwards & in each case I am missing the screw that holds the rear chassis structure to the die-cast frame.

Oddly enough, I can't find the screw in diagrams for the 1970's CFwd's so I can't get a part #. I am building the round motor variant that has the gear box.
The screw in the picture above has a flat-head slot on the right hand end & goes into the die-cast chassis 'prong' above the ruler.
As always with Rivarossi, it is a nicely engineered specialized screw, which is a PIA when you are trying to replace it.
If anyone has a couple or can give me a part #, please PM me. Thank you Tanked

I think the people at Rivarossi loved their lathes, because their favorite activity appeared to be turning as many sorts of weird brass screws as they could fit in a loco.
The only screw I see in this drawing that looks at all like that is #103, but it's on the front engine.

I had a look at that one Nelson, but it holds the plastic body shell up onto the die-cast weight system. Somewhat strange that it is missing as it is a unique item & one would expect it to show up.
You could expect it to be down by #43 which is the Cover Plate Screw as it is physically near a cover plate. Maybe they ran out of drafting room on the exploded diagram. I wonder if there are any other Rivarossi articulated's that use this special screw?? Tanked

Well I found it - in the Y6B diagram is a #78, Metal Pivot Pin for the 2nd truck. I pulled one off a Y6B & tried it & it works. Its not exactly the same - the thread is about 1/2 the length of the CFwd example, but it will do the job. Now to find a couple. Will try J I think Nelson Tanked

If anyone has, they do. Give him time... he'll have to get Ray off his butt to check.
Strange that it's not on any of the Cab Forward diagrams.

They're out, but I have been pointed to a local gunsmith who is known to work on Italian shotguns, & has a lathe, so I will see how that turns out
