I've got a number of (old) Life-Like couplers from the talgo trucks, with the small hole and straightish spring. I might even have a package of unused ones here somewhere. I've also got some Athearns with the larger pivot hole and spring that curls around it. You want them, they're yours.

Hey MB. Have you tried checking any hobby shops? The guy at my LHS has a box filled with horn hooks that people who are converting have given him. He sells them for something like 25cents each.

heh should mention the closest hobby stores are 200 miles away in Denver,CO

Can you post a picture of what you're looking for?
I think I may have some horn hooks but a pic would help ID them.
