OK, I have a Mantua 0-8-0. From what I understand, a lot of parts are shared with the Tyco 2-8-0/0-8-0 Chattanooga/Royal Blue/Clementine/Etc. loco.
I am in need of the following:
Cab Front pilot with walkways Front truck
In fact, a junk 2-8-0 would be best. Anyone have one?

He's also in the middle of moving, and apparently everything's boxed up.

I dug it out and it's pretty well missing all the parts you listed.
Sorry!

I have a bunch of junker 0-8-0 Chattanoogas, Kris. I have the cab, but the pilot is different than the Mantua version. On the Chattanoogas the steamchest is plastic, and the walkway steps slide into slots in the cylinder steam pipes, instead of being a molded part of the pilot deck. The Mantua style is also mounted to the frame with one screw through a flimsy plastic tab, while the Chattanooga frame supports its whole snap-on plastic pilot.

Hmm. I've been to HOseeker and I've seen the diagrams for the 1980 release 0-8-0 and 2-8-0. It appears that many parts are shared with the Tyco Chattanoogas, but the frame design is different.
The Mantua 2-8-0 has a different pilot piece than the 0-8-0. It includes the stepway as found on the Tyco model but has a boiler-tube pilot instead of the step pilot of the Tyco. The Mantua 0-8-0 has a step pilot but no provision for the steps to the walkway.
What I'm essentially doing with my 0-8-0 is turning it into a road locomotive. Therefore, I'm thinking that the Tyco pilot piece could be sliced and diced to give me the walkway parts I'd like to have.
I'm planning of getting rid of the rear sand dome too, so if I had a spare Tyco boiler, I could take a patch panel that would have the right radius to patch the hole where the dome was. What else - hmm, the boiler front has an integral light casting that can't just be removed, so I would need another boiler front piece to give me a workable patch panel.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that a junker 0-8-0 or 2-8-0 will be the best way to supply needed parts and panels.
If you have a junker that you're willing to get rid of, I could take it off your hands. Condition would be mostly unimportant as long as it was complete and had a good cab. I wouldn't need the tender, of course.

Whoops - sorry I didn't post a followup earlier!
The parts came in and were just what I needed. Therefore I am no longer in need of Chattanooga 2-8-0 parts, unless I happen to obtain another.
