Hi All,
Well the job hunt is not going so well. I'm getting worried that i'm going to let my Wife down and lose the house. I have a lot of trains I could sell, nothing high end though. Not just Tyco. If I decide to sell, I would like to sell it all to one person. I have about 26 pictures I can post. I'm not sure if I can post that many to the forum though. I'm just looking at this point to see if there is any interest.
You can PM me if you would like pictures.
Sorry for the downer.
Thanks Mike

| Very sad to hear this is happening to you and your family. Maybe you could post a list of the items on the forum.

I feel your pain. I just lost my job permanently on July 1, 09. I was there five years. four of the companies I've worked for have gone under. It sucks, there isn't any jobs around here. I'm thinking of getting my CDL license & driving a truck, but i would hate to be away from my wife & kids that much. theres not much need of a man whore around here either. lol

Mike, think about it twice!
In these economically bad times, nobody will pay a good price for trains, unless it's really rare and collectable stuff! What you get is a one time amount of money that only helps a short time.
Btw, here in Germany it seems to get better slowly. Last month our economy had a 7% rise in export, which is quite good. Don't know how it is in America though.
Heads up,
Martin

| So sorry it's come to this for you. My hope is that you get all that they are worth, be careful for rash decisions that would have you all but giving them away. My prayers that things turn out for you and yours. Blessings, BC

Sorry to hear this Mike. I've heard more than a few stories like this recently. While I wouldn't make any rash decisions, remember that at times like this these things are a luxury, and you can always replace them when your financial situation improves. I hope you find some work soon so selling is unnecessary.

I was hoping things would improve for you soon, I know it's been a long time now. Keep your head up Mike, don't look down on yourself. Anyone who does their best is not letting others down.
As for posting pictures you don't have a limit, do whatever you have to do. I agree unfortunately that the amount you get for the most common items will be next to nothing right now.
I do know one of the cars you have and if you have to let it go I will take it off of your hands until better times. As a matter of fact knowing what that car means to you I'll just send you money to bury in a closet somewhere and forget you have it for a while.

Hi All,
Thanks for the kind words. As I said back in August, I was just looking to see if there was any interest at the time. Just in case I had to sell my trains. At this point that need has NOT come about. The Great One and I put our heads together and we have mangaed to stay afloat. It truly is amazing what you can do when your Wife/Husband wants to work with you rather than point fingers at you in the rough times. She is the best thing that ever happend to me.
At this point I do not need to sell my trains.
NYC: The car you reffer to was never in any danger even if I had let the others go. Thanks again for it.
