When we went to the Timonium show in Oct 2007, we each had our hands stamped with ink that was the Chessie kitten outline. Like my avatar sans winking face.
Is there a place to get one? Our girls like rubber stamps. And I thought it would be a neat addition to the scrapbooking part of our railroad history.

I found a small company in Maryland that makes railroad stamps, among other railroad items, and I think they may have exactly what you are looking for. The "sleeping cat"? If not, they promise they can make a custom stamp if you provide a picture...

Their site hasn't been updated in a little while, so I'm not sure what you might find out.

I like that one, too, but that's not it.
It's the outline of the kitten logo. Somewhat like this hat pin, http://www.giftsrr.com/cgi-bin/Shopper.exe?preadd=action&Key=HTRR74

What you`re looking for is the "Chess-C" logo. If you look up sleeping cat logo or something like that you`ll come up with all sorts of junk. people get this confused ALOT with C&O for progress or the 40`s era stuff. But what infact what you`re looking for is the 72-86 logo. I will keep my eyes peeled but I have never seen one. Write Randy Broadwater at the CSHS. He is the treasurer. If it can be had in Chessie System Railroads he`ll find it or maybe even has it. He frequents the Great scale shows alot too.

Thanks Budman. My train nomenclature... errr, train speak, is rudimentary at best.
I was looking at GIC's profile pics on Facebook and Bethany's hand is stamped with that logo. The lady when we went into Timonium only stamped GIC's and my hand. Only after explaining that there was no way this three year old would let her dad and mom have a chessie logo on them and not her did she finally relent to stamp Bethany, too.
I shall keep searching! Thanks for the help guys!
