Went to the Westchester train and toy show today. It is a pretty big show and had lots of Lionel and Star Wars but few Tyco. I would say there wasn't more than 20 pieces of Tyco in the building and maybe 10 pieces in their own box. Looks like prices for Lionel has stayed steady or even dropped in the last several years. Do you think it is the economy, Ebay, or not as many collectors?

Most late boomers and Generation Xers were brought up on Tyco and Life-Like so we would tend towards those rather than the Lionels that the Great Generation and early boomers were brought up on.
It's an interesting theory anyway...[:D]

I was set up at the Westchester show and had a table selling TYCO trains, GG1's and Chattanooga's and my buddy had a slot truck pulling pup trailers right beside me. -Bob Bob the Slot Car Guy

Yes, I remember your table and have bought several slotcars from your friend in the past. Your table was about it for Tyco. The pup trailers are kind of cool. Did you sell much. Seemed busy but I remember the days when they used to also use the downstairs for tables as well. Am I the only one that hates it when a group of 3-4 people seem to think they need to stop and hold a conversation in the middle of a crowded isle?
