Smelter Town was a section of El Paso adjacent the former Asarco Copper Refinery. This 2 x 4 foot layout is loosely based on downtown El Paso circa 1955. San Jancinto Park in downtown El Paso used to have live alligators. This one is about to eat the young lady with her back turned. The Ferris Wheel works.
