An old photo of my lighted AFX Police & Fire Cheif cars displayed on 60's Tyco track on our piano... These are kinda cool but the electric to the lights rob the motor of power reducing speed...

Change the lights to LED. Simple change and minimal power draw.

That's a perfect idea Jeepman. But i'm kinda into the Tyco hobby of what these pieces have always been... I hate to modify my slot cars, trains or buildings

Understandable. I'm the same way unless it is a damaged double. Then let the modifying begin.

That's what I intend to do with my Bachmann Tracksters. Some are destined to be come ACTUAL slot cars, not just rail inspection cars. Since I have so many, I won't mind modifying some of them for other uses.

Man, must be a snow emergency to have that many official vehicles out at once! Nice!
