I've taken quite a few good photos of Ephrata Valley RR locomotives recently, as I continue to improve on my custom locomotive skills and continue to receive awesome pieces from the Anderson Shops. The Ephrata Valley Railroad Tycoon and Chief Photographer shared his work with the TF Railroader News of the railroad's locomotives thru the years.

4-6-2 Pacific #56 rounds the bend behind the Ephrata Coal Company, sometime in the early 50's.


4-6-2 #56 and then brand-new Alco C430 #4301 seen hauling freight in the same direction.


F9 #219 and 4-6-2 #56 side by side at West Norriton Junction.


4-6-2 Pacific #55 "Double-Nickel" photographed stopped on the tracks in front of the Southern Oil Company in the late 40's.


0-4-0 Shifter #21 posed under the Hanover Water Tower.


The Ephrata Valley RR Business Train, headed up by a Shark. The Tycoon likes to ride in style.


0-4-0 tank engine #3 puttin' in work, hauling empty coal hoppers to be filled at the Ephrata Coal Company.

Business is booming on the Ephrata Valley RR in the '50's.....seen here is F9A #219 helping 2-8-0 Consolidation #22 haul a freight train to the Schuylkill Valley Station.
