I bought this set on sale after Christmas at a Kmart in PA in the early '80s.

Cool cars They were the ones that came with all the crazy loops right?

I used to have some slotcars, but I don't think any of them were Tyco. Some of the track may have been though.

Was Straightening Out the Area where my slot car sets are and found these. I only collect the Nite Glow series.

Here is one of the Tyco Daredevil Cliff Hangers with Nite Glow sets .
Set Number: 6233 (93-0-467-R12) Original Price: $49.99 at TRUS

Here is TheTyco Magum 440-X2 Championship Set. Set Number6285 ( 93-0-48-R20D) Original Price: $99.99 at TRUS.

I made a few changes, I did not like the Lapcouter that came with it. So I changed it and I also added a Ramp Jump Track, added more Night Glow Guard Rails and Changed the Support Piers

Here is The Tyco Sparkin' Hot Rods set. Set Number 6233( 93-0-467-R12) Original Price: $44.99 at TRUS

It is ashame That Toys R Us does not have any Slot Car or Train Items Lke they did in the 70's, 80's and 90's They used to have sets an Accessories for slot cars and trains. Now all they have is one ot two sets at christmas and Nothing else.. Carl

Sweet sets...

I got this at a flea market a couple weeks back, a JC Penney set, it was missing the cars but is otherwise complete...

...missed an AFX set by a couple minutes...sigh...

I'd like to mount them on light weight platforms that could nest together so that they could be set up at shows.

I miss TYCO sets. Today's toys aren't as cool as what we had. Our toys- TYCO- lasted for years.

My son's toys look terrible after 20 minutes. The quality just isn't there.

You have really nice pieces there! I paid the world famous gold and silver over the vegas strip and they have a very wide collection of toy car models that truly are interesting. They were selling them for quite a bit high in price but when you come to think of it, you are getting rare pieces that will surely be interesting to you and the other party. Just makes you realize how you are taking hold of such beautiful pieces.
