Here's a neat new product from Blackstone Models...the company's first HOn3 steam engine is this Rio Grande K-27...

Blackstone is the name being used for this new line of HOn3 offerings from the SoundTraxx folks. The first of these K-27 models should be hitting stores before year's end.

Make one really think about maybe adding a loop of narrow gauge to the pike, huh?

The Blackstone train line may be found at ...

Yes, this is HO-scale 1/87th and runs on 3-foot or HOn3 track. Blackstone has this K-27 steamer coming and two different box cars.

MicroTrains, known from the N-scale offerings, is also now in the RTR HOn3 game with a nicely done box car.

Believe previous to these items, HOn3 was a kit-builder/scratchbuilder's domain. I've seen the MicroTrains box car and it is really neat.
