Got thiese at the Albuquerque Model Train Show a couple of weeks ago. They are the chromed ones.
So, naturally, had to go out and find a Tyco B&O F to pull them. In searching eBay, turned up a Tyco
GP 20 in a battleship blue for B&O, as well as some other variants that I cannot remember for the
life of me (need to take my Alzheimer pills), and this, that has the classic MU2 motor. Hopefully it
will run and the traction tires not dried into prunes.

WKS tells me there is a chromed B&O F out there, as well, but I always admired the classic cigar
band look, so happy with this one. We will see how it runs...or not...going to break out Armadilloville
from the dust cover, tonight.

$15. Got murdered on the shipping.

Here's a photo from the Tyco Red Box Era site, of the Tyco chrome B&O F9, A & B units. They are fairly rare.

Great find, Chops. Yes, the engines do exist. FYI, due to rough handling and/or improper storage, the chrome plating can become brittle and look like cracked glass.
