At a recent train show I purchased a locomotive I never thought I'd own - the "Canadian Pacific" variant of the Tyco trans-clear F9A!! There were 3 different clear Tyco F9's known to have existed and all are extremely rare. If anyone has more information on these, or photos, or have one of these in your collection, please share.

Certainly are unique. Some other ones have been seen in different model train companies.

Yes, indeed, Chops - I have both the JC Penney 40' and 50' Tyco boxcars.

WKS - were there any other HO-Scale manufacturers that made clear locomotive or train car shells?

Here's a photo of all 3 variations of the Tyco clear F9. The other 2 versions are red-striped "Santa Fe Warbonnet" and simply all-clear. All are very, very rare.
