Former Tyco tooling. Don’t know who made it, all it says is “MADE IN CHINA.â€

This topic shows an IHC 40' single dome tank car flyer. The car is a spot-on match, and on the list of road names, the top righthand roadname is Amstar. I'm going to assume it's an IHC. It could be something else odd, but that is my best guess. Plus IHC did pick up some tyco molds If I recall correctly.

I totally agree with you that it could be IHC. But it’s not telling any secrets!

My car of the week is a Mantua 50 foot boxcar in the B&O TmeSaver scheme. Growing up near a major B&O yard, I saw plenty of TimeSaver boxcars, but they were all boxcar red with white lettering. I never saw one like this. Too bad. It would have stood out in any train it was in. The TimeSaver service harkens back to an era where the railroads were interested in actually running trains, and speedy service to the customers was important. WIsh we could go back to that mindset. We lost alot when things changed.

Not sure, but it feels like a Varney. Metal trucks.

I think that is an Athearn, Chops, from the late 1950s to early 1960s.
