I'm sure we've all come across train show engines with missing horns. Tired of having holes in the roofs of my engines, I fired up the resin printer and recreated some common horns.

Athearn on the left, Tyco on the right / originals at bottom, printed at top:

They fit nice:

I also made a set to fit my Varney F3s. These ones have been painted.

I have no doubt the market is there Chops, I just don't know that it would be worth it trying to ship so many low cost orders. I'm happy to help out though if anyone needs any.

How hard was it to recreate those? Did you scan them or redraw them from scratch?

I'll take you up on that, will do an inventory to see if I am
missing any horns. Having off loaded a ton of stuff, not sure
if I am still hornless. Lice touch leaving the inside unpainted
on that smack gorgeous Atomic Lines flagship.

Awesome work! I currently don't need any horns for Tyco F9s....but if I do, I know who to contact.

From scratch using the free software Blender. It wasn't too hard. The difficult part was getting the mounting posts the right diameter for the various engines, but it's just trial and error. Calipers would have helped I'm sure!

Sure thing Chops and RP! I'm around, hit me up whenever.
