Took quite some time to finally hunt one of these Aussie pieces down, and was fortunate to find one with the caboose. New South Wales. I can't find anything about how Tyco went into the Australian market, how these were sold- as a set or one offs, or how rare or plentiful they were. Any info would be wonderful.
Prior to getting this set, the only other pieces I've seen for sale were a modern livery NSW in the Century design, and a Victoria Rail of old school livery, but melted like a choclate bar left in the sun.

Very nice Tyco NSW F9 and cupola caboose, Chops. Congrats!
Here's the webpage on the Tyco Brown Box Trains Resource, that lists all of the Australian models, minus the wreck crane. https://tycotrain.tripod.com/tycotrains/id71.html

It sure don't say a lot. As far as I know, the wrecking crane was the only Aussie rail car.
