Obviously Walt Disney was a prolific railfan and model train collector.

And he had to start somewhere before building his railroad and entertainment empire.

As many of you know Tyco had a Disneyland set many decades ago.

From the internet. Not my photos nor collection nor those above videos. I am just the messenger.

A bit expensive but free to look.

4 of those cars are at the Pacific Coast Railroad
redone in their original SF&DL RR names & colors

Also once you could get the Lily Belle in G scale & even Casey Jr!

know what *I* forgot I got recently?
the Tyco one!

paid $30 for this set
I would like a copy of the caboose they had too
another one that'd be cool to have is the Lilly Belle executive passenger car
now I know they had a current DLRR train set in HO once but I didn't get it for $100 years ago when we went
funny thing is the real train is 3 foot gauge & these are Standard Gauge!

I got 2 more passenger cars too but the one shown is missing the frame & trucks
now I DO regret not getting my other fave trolley line
& that was a Birney in the Ft Collins Municipal Railway for another $30
