I recently purchased a set of three of those AHM/Rivarossi log buggies and decided I wanted more. But I didn't want to pay the asking price on feebay. So I created the body in SketchUp and printed 5 of them.
I had a bunch of trucks in my parts bin, including 3 pairs of MDC Fox trucks. I also had some code 100 rail. So I designed the body so that all I had to do was tap the holes for the trucks and couplers, and slide in the rails. I printed them on my Elegoo Mars 2 resin printer, and after assembling them I painted them with craft store acrylic paints. The tree trunks are cut from bushes in my backyard and I got the chain from JoAnns in their jewelry section.
Here is how they turned out.
