My LOTW is an engine which I just purchased yesterday. An American Flyer HO 0-6-0 with a caboose thrown in. Apparently, the seller has done maintenance on this, added a light, and even went as far as to replace the old wires between the loco and tender. Will report back when I receive it. Hi everyone. It would seem the last owner has removed or painted over the original lettering which was white and replaced it with gold or yellow decals. I do not how someone can say it is a 443 which was a Pennsylvania. B&O had 2 other different numbers. BUT it sure does looks good. Congratulations on a good a looking PRR B6. I do know how well the Gilbert locos run. It is good find.
These photos are from the listing, by the way.Speaking of which.... Check out this amazingly hilarious description from the listing.Love this seller's energy!
"Tired of those Plastic China Trains breaking and unable to repair with SUPER GLUE. This HO Scale Gilbert American Flyer ( 433 B&O ) 0-6-0 switcher is (Very Hard to fine). This is a super nice classic all metal Locomotive and Coal Tender With a B&O Marked Coal Tender. The Caboose is bright Red with B&O White Letters. It has a LIGHTED BOILER FRONT. Smoke unit and Cho Cho Sounds. I have cleaned this myself and Boy does it run nice. GUARANTED.I added smoke and it works super nice. I am sure this will be a keeper you will enjoy for many years. PS: NO SUPER GLUE NEEDED FOR THIS CLASSIC LOCOMOTIVE."
Oh yeah, and if this model is a Gilbert 433, then it appears that it was made somewhere between 1955 and early 1957 based on this link.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

If you pop the shell off, you may see the date of manufacture inside.

Howdy everyone! It's been a while but I'm still around. Cool stuff this week!
Here's a trio of Athearn Hi-F New Haven units. I believe it was Chops who referred to this as the 'Snowbird' scheme.

Pristine ABA set, DaCheez.
Apparently inspired by the ill fated "Dan'l Webster," which was very late in the game to regain some of the Boston to New York commuter traffic captured by I-95 and the airlines, the latter offering a dedicated service, where if you were bumped, they would bring out an entire airplane on standby, for you.
It had a rough ride owing to talgo trucks and lost money from start to finish. It was sold to a T. Boone Pickens Amusement park in Georgia.
ABA powered, pulling a 35 +/- Tyco consist. https://youtu.be/bCVkssaVReU
