With freight operations busy as ever, and another large contract taking shape with Ephrata Valley, Anderson Lines System suddenly found itself in a dilemma. Although the original two diesels are managing to handle freight operations so far, the shop is suddenly finding itself without a switcher. Thus the powers that be decided to pull an old diesel out of the deadline and get it fixed up. Thus, without further ado, Anderson Lines RS3 #99!
I picked up this Hobbytown of Boston kit some time back. I had broken a pin and the decals and paint job didn't work out. I gave up and just threw it into a random tub out in the shed. Fast forward several months to today, I got bored, went out and retrieved it, and here's the end result... I have yet to gloss coat it lightly, but when I do it should match my C630 just great.
