Here is the brand new Fire Engine for the city of Andersonville. The yellow ladder truck is still quite near and dear to me, however it was too tall to fit in the door of the fire hall without just cramming it in. This little pumper sits perfectly inside the fire hall, so I am quite pleased.

Awesome!
My AOTW of the week is from a galaxy far, far away. These stormtroopers were made by MicroMachines for their playsets back in the 80's, and are pretty much 1/87th scale. I love Star Wars, and I love trains, so these stormtroopers will be part of a forthcoming little scene on the front of the Ephrata Valley Railroad.

My AOTW is a pack of ho scale deer. I only have one out of the package right now. It's common the see several of these in my yard at night. I put cracked corn out and they now expect it to be there for them...

Oh dear me! Those Storm Troopers are so funny! Have you, perchance, read "1984" or "Brave New World?" Without getting into details about current events, that scene has a certain metaphorical relevance. Or, maybe you just like Star Wars.
I should get some deers for the Camden and Amboy micro layout. Would look good, in the snow.

The deer would look nice in the snow. Go for it!

Never read those, but they sound interesting. I think adding deer on your layout would enhance realism - go for it.
